CREATION – Part 2
What is Creation?
The mythological story of Creation presented in Genesis is a rather sketchy, symbolic overview of the beginning of an elemental universe which appears in the deep darkness of infinite space. Genesis does not address the block of time in the unseen that was required to prepare the earth to be the perfect elemental habitat for human bodies. It does not address the formative period that humans spent in the cosmic womb having their spirit/body prepared so we could emerge from the unseen to make our appearance in this physical world. And finally, Genesis does not explain what was before the beginning.
In the book of Genesis, what is referred to as “Creation” actually encompasses several different realities – significantly different realities. In order to engage and understand these distinct stages of Creation, it is necessary to separate and distinguish these realities from one another. These realities can be broken into 3 distinct phases: Eternity, the source from which everything emerges; the First Cause, the initial configuration of the primordial elements of fire, air, and water to prepare the physical universe, the earth, and the human body; and the appearance or manifestation of the universe, the earth, and the human body in the primordial element of earth. Eternity was briefly explained in Creation part 1, “The realm of the physical universe, the Creation spoken of in Genesis, came forth from the Eternal Oneness, the Omniscient Light or Consciousness, the ever-present Origin. The Eternal Oneness is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, but it is not in manifestation. Eternity is not among the things which exist in timespace because whatever exists, like Creation, is temporary. Therefore, Creation had to come into existence out of that which is Eternal and Absolute.” In the GH12 (64.5), Jesus says, “The things which are seen and pass away are the manifestations of the unseen which are eternal, that from the visible things of nature you may reach the invisible things of God; and by that which is natural, attain to that which is spiritual.” This magnificent universe with its infallible laws and principles, infinite mysteries, incomprehensible knowledge, and perfect mathematical symmetry did not come into existence from empty nothingness. Such a miraculous occurrence as Creation must be a dynamic, living thought in the mind of an Eternal Creator which is far beyond the ability of man to conceive.
Although Creation came forth from the Eternal, the ever-present Origin, we did not drop straight from Eternity into physical manifestation because that would defy the laws and principles of nature and science which God created. People forget that science and evolution came from God also and God cannot and will not violate the laws and principles which define the perfect workings of Creation. In order to comprehend the symbolism of the early phases of Creation, it is necessary to understand these laws and principles by which the universe operates. According to the universal principle of correspondence, we can understand the universe by deciphering its corresponding cycles, patterns, laws, and principles. The principle of correspondence states, “As it is above so it is below, and as it is below so it is above; as it is within so it is without, and as it is without so it is within; what is true scientifically is true spiritually and what is true spiritually is true scientifically.”
There is evidence of this cyclical duplication in nature which confirms that the universe is unfolding according to precise mathematical formulas. One example of this self-replicating pattern is found in the fractal which is a mathematical replication of itself which extends into infinity. Another form of this same replicating pattern is found in a head of broccoli. A spear of broccoli has a head, and a smaller piece of the same spear looks like a mini head. This mathematical symmetry is also found in the sunflower, the chambered nautilus, and quartz crystals. The most impressive example of this mathematical symmetry is found in the body of man which has been depicted in a drawing by Leonardo DaVinci called the Vitruvian Man. It is also represented in our psychology and character by the parable which states, “You can tell a tree by its fruit; a good tree produces good fruit and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A bad tree cannot produce good fruit and a good tree cannot produce bad fruit.” The understanding of universal symbolism, cycles, patterns, and principles is what allows for us to perceive the interconnectivity, relationship, and correspondence between the “manifested objects” of this world and the “unmanifested backdrop” of living creative energy from which all things originate. In the GH12 (64.5), Jesus says, “… from the visible things of Nature you may reach to the invisible things of the Godhead.”
When attempting to understand our own origin in Creation, it is easy to attribute our beginning to a simple mythological story in which God creates everything, or we could attribute it to the evolution of organic life which manipulates everything into being. The mythological story of Creation does represent our divine origin and our connection to an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Creator, and evolution does represent a common sense scientific progression of natural life. However, both of these perspectives are incomplete and insufficient. The story in Genesis is presented as a mythological representation of Creation and Darwin’s theory of evolution, even after all these years, still cannot be proven or verified. No matter how many people are staunch believers in both of these views, the fact remains that the Creation story contains elements of symbolic mythology, and the theory of evolution contains yet to be resolved gaps. What is presented in this paper is a theory also, but it is formulated according to universal principles, repetitive cycles, and corresponding patterns. In the final analysis, it is a synthesis in which the creative life energy from which all things originate advances according to universal law through the natural cycles of evolution to create life forms which express higher states of consciousness in order to manifest the fullness of life, light (consciousness), and love (oneness with life).
The Formative Period
The divine essence of Eternal Light entered the dark nothingness of infinite space as the “Alpha/Omega Word of God” (the dynamic, living thought in the mind of an Eternal Creator) meaning that within this initial creative impulse was the complete expression of Creation; it contained all of the substance, energy, laws, principles, and time matrix (the unfolding pattern of manifestation) from its beginning to its completion. This much power, force, and energy entering the dark and deep of the infinite nothingness would truly fit the Big Bang Theory envisioned by quantum scientists. To get an idea of how this might have happened, imagine taking a live, hot 220 amp electrical wire and dropping the end of it into a tub of water in a dark room. Now, when the energy of the First Cause which initiated this universe meets a neutral medium like empty space, there is no resistance to inhibit the initial explosion, and apparently, even after 13.7 billion years, our universe is still expanding.
To devise an image which will symbolically represent what this means for life is almost impossible, kind of like reducing the aforementioned timeless, spaceless electrical explosion to a stick figure diagram. However, a visual representation of where humanity is, where we have been, and where we are going can provide a rudimentary anchor point of understanding. It is not meant to be considered as a myth, but more like a chalk image displayed on an old-fashioned chalkboard, which is used to help the seeker isolate the inseparable so as to understand the relationship of the parts to a whole mental, time/space picture. The concrete image employs a seven pearl necklace to demonstrate how the Alpha/Omega 7-day framework of Creation follows a configuration as would a normal wave of light as it emanates from the electrical explosion at the highest point of the wave through the lowest point of the trough and back to the high point of the next wave. In other words, using two-dimensional, classroom imagery, the 7-days of Creation are like seven pearls (days) on an unclasped necklace which is drawn as a traditional open necklace in the shape of a cup. In the diagram, three pearls (days) descend from the beginning pearl on the left side of the chain to the fourth pearl (day) which is in the normal position of a pendant resting at the bottom; on the right side of the necklace, three pearls (days) ascend to the imaginary ending pearl. Added to the image are straight lines bisecting the configuration of pearls/days into 4 layers: as these two days are closest to the origin/explosion from the Eternal, pearls 1 and 7 are at the top level which is the element of fire level; precipitating, cooling, or descending down the diagram and further from the explosion, pearls 2 and 6 are in the element of air level; continuing the precipitation into the density of matter, the next layer, pearls 3 and 5 are in the element of water level; and at the pendant position, pearl 4 is alone in the element of earth level.
Even though for the purpose of creating an anchor–point image, the necklace has been divided into convenient layers as in a layer cake, these primordial elements of fire, air, and water all interpenetrate the earth or physical plane in the following manner: all of the 7 pearl/days are in the sphere of the element of fire (light); next, the lower 3 levels (5 pearl/days) are in the sphere of the element of air (life), but interpenetrated by the element of fire; the lowest 2 levels (days 3-4-5) are in the sphere of water (form) and interpenetrated by the elements of fire and air; and day 4 is at the bottom on the physical plane which is in the sphere of the element of earth and interpenetrated by fire, air, and water. Man is created in this same image with corresponding and interpenetrating atmospheres (See the top image at the bottom of this page: Meditation). Furthermore, each of the seven days is comprised of seven cycles with a night between each day which serves as a rest, reorganization, and regeneration period. It is on the physical plane in the 4th day of Creation that mankind first appears in the physical universe. However, before describing the appearance of humanity on the earth, the first 3 days of Creation need to be addressed.
The Universal Womb
To use an analogy which corresponds with quantum physics, in the billions of years since the beginning of this temporal, elemental, timespace universe, we have transitioned through the 3 primordial (invisible) elements of fire, air, and water in order to reach the (visible) earth phase or physical plane we are presently in now. Relative to our sight, the invisible is composed of synchronistic and perfectly balanced units of elemental matter. By contrast, our world is visible because the units of matter are not balanced, but vibrate randomly, chaotically, and irregularly. According to quantum mechanics, the universe started at the big bang with an infinite temperature (fire) and infinite density meaning that all the elemental substance of the universe was contained in that initial burst or creative impulse. In less than a second, as the universe exploded into infinite space, the temperatures cooled to about 100 billion degrees. As the universe cooled further, matter and energy began to decouple and the universe became transparent (air). Hundreds of thousands of years later, when temperatures had dropped to a few thousand degrees, the electrons slowed to the point where light nuclei could capture them to form atoms. These atoms would eventually form complex molecules which were necessary to sustain life (water). And finally, it was not until billions of years later that the heavier elements like carbon and oxygen, of which we are composed, were made from the burning of helium in the center of stars. All of these primordial elements precipitated into what we know as physical manifestation (earth) approximately 4.5 billion years ago; our presence on the planet is only a small fraction of that time.
There was a large block of time in the early phases of Creation before mankind actually entered onto the stage of life. This time was the early formative period for the universe and for the developing matrix of the human body. Although it took billions of years to traverse these first 3-days of Creation, it should be remembered that time is relative; time in the unseen is different than the march of time in the 3rd dimensional world. On the descending side of this wave of life (from peak to trough) were the phases or periods in which the universe was forming and condensing, that is, when the gases and quantum matter began to gather and coalesce into galaxies, stars, and planets. As the universe was condensing, the matrix for the human body (from lifetime to lifetime, the soul retains the memory/configuration of the human matrix) was beginning to take form directed by the Alpha/Omega Thought of the Creator which guided invisible units of elemental matter to configure the design for what would eventually be our nervous system, vital systems, organs, and flesh body. For humanity, the first 3-days of Creation were silent, dark, and unconscious like the 3 trimesters in the gestation process all human beings experience in their mother’s womb. These phases of physical development for the embryo in the stages of gestation are a micro representation of the macro experience humanity transitioned through in the first 3-days of Creation.
In the period of time that was the first day of Creation, the quantum matter of our galaxy began to coalesce and rotate. The first day took place in the primordial element of fire; the units of radiant-matter were the most ethereal and the first to form. Radiant-matter began to coalesce into the center of galaxies, into the stars, and into a rudimentary nervous system in the invisible matrix of the human form. The rudimentary nervous system of the human was evident in the first day of Creation as it is evident in the fetus (called the “primitive streak”) at 14 days following conception. Humanity was in an embryonic state and was only conscious as we are now in deep sleep. The prototype form of the human matrix was invisible and indistinguishable; if it could have been seen, it would have looked like a zygote which is the cell that is formed when a sperm fertilizes an ovum. In the cosmic womb, these squiggling twinkles of moving light, instead of DNA, had an androgynous, male/female configuration and a dual streak (spine) with one in the front of the body and one in the back. When humanity enters the earth phase or physical plane (4th day), this androgynous and archetypal human matrix will separate into male and female forms which we, as spiritual beings of light, will use alternately through our many lives on Earth. In the GH12 (64.6), Jesus says, “… all nature is in the image of God, therefore is God both male and female, not divided, but the Two in One, Undivided and Eternal, by Whom and in Whom are all things, visible and invisible.”
This was not an entirely dormant period for the squiggling light forms because there were energy, forces, and the invisible substates of elemental matter coming to life; so movement, will, and intention were required of these new life forms which began to distinguish one from another. This was the beginning point at which human beings were all equal, but this was also the point at which this equality ended. These beings were forced to grow and to experience as they were challenged with waves of power, force, and energy as well as the initial “heaviness of matter.” In this new life wave, some beings progressed faster than others, a lot faster. So, at the end of the first day, the beings who were at the forefront of the wave were considered as the pioneers of the period, and those at the back were considered the stragglers. This distinction and difference in individual human progress, known as evolving the soul, has continued to this very day and is clearly noted in people by their: character, initiative, perception, integrity, honesty, goodwill, sincerity, patience, persistence, competence, commitment, compassion, purpose, common sense, kindness, refinement, civility, self-respect, and love of life. These “qualities of being” reveal the true spiritual advancement of each person’s soul.
In these initial stages of development and elemental experience for the soul matrix and embryonic human form, our spiritual Self had minimal contact with the form matrix; it was similar to what is experienced in the human gestation process. In the gestation process, at the moment of conception, the spiritual Self/soul of the new being enters the atmospheres of the mother and father and “stamps” its identity (spiritual identity and soul matrix) upon the fertilized egg and then departs. In these modern times, we know the physiological stages in the development of the embryo, but little is known about the internal stages because not much has been written on this subject. Through the 40 years of reading and research, I have found some relevant knowledge which correlates the developmental of humanity in the first day of Creation with the development of the embryo in the womb.
Whether it is fetal development in the womb of the mother or in the cosmic womb of Creation, it is the Divine Will or Directing Principle inherent in the Thought of Creation which directs the elemental forces to build out the human form matrix; mothers are not conscious participants in the process other than to be willing hosts. Many of the Creation mythologies refer to these elemental forces which fashion the elemental universe as gods, demiurges, or rulers of the fate. In one of the ancient texts, it says that the rulers of the fate (what the Greeks refer to as the governing elemental forces) in the unseen summoned their servitors (active substates of the elements) and handed over the soul and the counterfeiting spirit (ego) to them. According to the text, the counterfeiting spirit is the “without” of the soul and the divine breath (power) is the “within” of the soul; divine breath being within the soul, in order that they both (soul and ego) may be able to stand upright. It is the divine breath which allows for the spine of our animal or nature body to stand upright (animals’ spines are horizontal to the ground). The servitors then brought the soul and ego down to the world and poured them out to the rulers of this sphere (water). The rulers of the world sphere took the soul and ego and bound it to its destiny; destiny is bound to the soul and ego throughout life until it has the being slain through the appointed death; this is the primary function of destiny. It is this empowered or “spirit-filled” (our individual spirit) soul, ego, and destiny which pass into the atmosphere of the mother and father during conception. The elemental forces (the servitors) are then entrusted to build out the body in the woman’s womb according to the Directing Principle of the Creator.
Toward the completion of the first trimester, the body has been built out and the servitors summon the spiritual Self and bind the empowered soul and ego to the body, leaving destiny outside. Destiny is not blended with them but follows the empowered soul and ego, accompanying them through life. After this, the servitors seal the protoplasm (fetus) in this manner: they seal the day of conception on the left hand, they seal the day the body is completed on the right hand, they seal the day the being was handed over into this world on the middle of the skull of the protoplasm, they seal the day the soul came forth from the aeons (the unseen) on the left side of the skull, they seal the day the members of the body were kneaded and separated for the soul on the right side of the skull, they seal the day on which they bound the ego to the soul on the back of the skull, they seal the day the rulers breathed power into the body on the brain and inside the heart (this is not the divine breath of the soul), and the number of years the soul will spend in the body is sealed on the forehead. After the seals are sealed, the soul and ego are firmly connected, but remain outside of the mother nearby. The empowered soul is there at the time of birth to permanently connect with the body through the first gasp of breath. In this gasp, the spirit and soul are planted in the heart of the newborn; however, the spirit, ego, and a portion of the soul still remain outside of the infant body for a period of 6 weeks to 1 year; destiny is always nearby. For the fetus, the period in the womb is like the consciousness of deep sleep and the early phase after birth is like dreaming consciousness. This is what it was like for the pioneers of humanity who emerged from the cosmic womb; that is, they were unconscious while in the womb, but when they entered the developing physical body at the beginning of the fourth day, they were in a dreamlike state of consciousness referred to as the magical structure of consciousness.
For humanity, the first day of Creation was similar to that of the zygote in the human womb in the sense that we were unconscious of the impact of the elemental forces as they were building out the human form matrix. We were evolving because we were engaged in a growth experience as our soul and spirit (no counterfeit spirit or ego was present yet) exercised will, intent, and motivation, perhaps like sperm swimming furiously upstream toward the egg. The first day was the Alpha or beginning part of the creative thought and the seventh day is the Omega or completion of the process. Both of these days reside in the primordial element of fire. On the involutionary and unconscious (descent into matter) side of the 7-day framework of Creation, the first day was for configuring a nervous system for the human matrix in which the fire or radiant-matter would bring active life to the organism. The primordial fire or radiant-matter which “fires up” the nervous system of the human body comes into the physical body as electrical energy, but in the unseen part of a person (consciousness, spirit, soul, and psyche) this same fire is experienced as spiritual light.
In the first day of Creation, the primordial fire (radiant-matter) brings life to the unconscious human form, but in the seventh day, the radiant-matter will be pure, spiritual Self-conscious light in the form of a Self-regenerated body/soul. This is the body of light in which Jesus Christ appeared following the crucifixion. This light body is described in the GH12 (85.1-5) it says, “The same day, at the time of sacrifice in the Temple there appeared among the dealers in beasts and in birds, one clothed in white raiment, bright as light, and in his hand a whip of seven cords. At the sight of Him, those who sold and bought fled in terror, and some of them fell as dead men, for they remembered how before his death Jesus had driven them away from the Temple enclosure, in like manner. Some declared that they had seen a spirit and others that they had seen Him who was crucified and that He had risen from the dead. The sacrifices ceased that day in the Temple, for all were in fear and none could be had to sell or to buy, but, rather, they let their captives go free. The priests and elders caused a report to be spread, that they who had seen it were drunken and had seen nothing. But many affirmed that they had seen Him with their own eyes and felt on their backs the scourge, but were powerless to resist, for when some of the bolder among them put forth their hands, they could not seize the form which they beheld nor grasp the whip which chastised them. And from that time, these believed in Jesus, that He was sent from God to deliver the oppressed and to free those that were bound. And they turned from their ways and sinned no longer.”
This body of light, the regenerated body/soul was witnessed in the ascension by many of the apostles of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ said, “I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.” What this means is as the alpha, Jesus embodied a physical form that had identical characteristics as our physical bodies, that is, he experienced the pain and weakness of the physical body as well as the full range of emotions. He was the omega in the sense that he, Jesus, received the Christ light into his soul/body at the baptism and was transformed in body, soul, and spirit at the crucifixion to the highest spiritual consciousness which is the regenerated or resurrected soul/body (fulfillment of the seventh day). Receiving the Christ light within our being and striving to perfect our souls is what we are meant to do. This is the way of life taught by Jesus, in the GH12 (66.12) he said, “This is the mystery of the Trinity in humanity, and moreover, in every individual child of man must be accomplished the mystery of God, ever witnessing to the light, suffering for the truth, ascending into Heaven, and sending forth the Spirit of Truth. And this is the path of salvation, for the kingdom of God is within.”
At the end of the first day was a cosmic night, a period of release, reorganization, and regeneration for the evolving life. The first day of Creation takes place in the Light World (spiritual plane) and is related to the primordial fire which is the elemental origin of the stars. In the anatomy of the body, the Light World is related to the region of the cranium, brain, spine, and nervous system; and in the bodily functions, to the sense of sight and the generative system. The second day of Creation takes place in the Life World (mental plane) and is related to the primordial element of air, the sun (condensed starlight), and to the archetypal images of the world; in the anatomy, to the thoracic cavity and to the heart and lungs; and in the bodily functions, to the sense of hearing and the respiratory system. In the developing matrix of the human body, the second day of Creation corresponds to the second trimester in the mother’s womb which focuses primarily on the formation of the heart, lungs, and respiratory system.
In the second day, as the massive fire fog of our galaxy rotated and condensed so did our solar system. In this stage, our solar system would have looked like a giant foggy sun, and within this misty light the planets were coming to life but were not yet distinguishable. As the galactic center slowly formed, every 250,000 years our solar system made a complete rotation around this intense energy core and the etheric matrix of the human body went along for the ride. This was an important journey for infant humanity to circle the galactic center because we were receiving subtle energetic impressions from this newly forming light and life which were imprinting, configuring, and shaping our miraculous etheric substance to be the temple of the living spirit. It is important to remember that the visible or manifested part of any living thing whether it is a human body, a sun, or a galactic center is a physical representation of the unseen spiritual energy which is expressing through the form. In our rotation around the light/life center of the galaxy in the 3 days of Creation, we received spiritual and archetypal patterns, qualities, and characteristics of: consciousness, motion, substance, breath, life, form, sex, desire, thought, self-knowledge, love, pure intelligence, and abstract will. All of the human functions, attributes, life-forces, mental faculties, and powers of consciousness as well as the 4 elements of the body originate from these spheres.
Challenged to exercise will, motivation, and intention by having to make decisions, to express, and to respond in the environment of the second day, humanity continued to evolve the soul matrix of the body. All of these activities took place in a consciousness of deep dreaming, and in this dream experience some faired better than others by being more alert, responsive, adaptable, and motivated. These developing qualities of will, initiative, and character could be distinguished by the clarity and intensity of each being’s light. As humans were being internally vivified, their dream images and impressions were also coming to life as an “external environment” just like the surroundings in our dreams. In the distant future of the third day, these dream images would begin to take on a more substantial form. Remember, as it was stated earlier, we are an extension of God and the universe is an extension of us. And then there was a cosmic night of the second day.
The third day of Creation takes place in the Form World (psychic plane) and is related to the primordial element of water, the moon (reflected sunlight), and the etheric forms of the material world; in the anatomy of the body, this plane is related to the abdominal cavity, to the stomach, and to the organs of that region; and in the bodily functions, to the sense of taste and to the circulatory system. In conjunction with the solar system, the organs of the body were being distinguished as the planets were being distinguished in the misty fire fog of the sun. In the etheric protoplasm of the soul/body matrix, the dual spines had formed and the androgynous male/female body would be separated during the reorganization and regeneration phase of the cosmic night. At the beginning of the fourth day humanity would enter the physical plane in male and female bodies. In the third day, the developing soul/body matrix corresponded to the third trimester in a human womb focusing primarily on the formation and completion of the body and the vital systems; the human body was near completion in its preparation for entrance into the physical plane. It should be noted here that there are 3 trimesters, but 4 vital systems. This is the reason newborn babes require a year and sometimes more of the mother’s milk before the digestive system is fully functional. Human infants are among the most vulnerable of creatures to be born on the earth and require several years of constant attention in order to survive.
The experience of humanity in the third day was akin to the consciousness we experience in lucid dreaming. Humanity was gradually awakening so dreams were becoming more real and substantial. The Form World contained the invisible forms or “vessels” of all that would soon be filled with the elemental matter of the visible world; it was the (unmanifested) mirror image of the physical plane, but not as we know it now. It was a very different dream than the one we are dreaming now, but that is the subject of another paper. The myriad etheric forms of the Form World were created by humanity from the “cast off” thoughts, dream images, impressions, and imaginations in the third day; this provided a collective “dreamscape” like we have in our individual dreams. Our dreamscapes present a more or less realistic and relatable backdrop that can include houses, trees, plants, animals, and people which reflect what we have experienced in our daily lives. Humanity was doing the same thing, that is, they were dreaming their surroundings and creating an “external environment” which the collective whole was experiencing. In the near future of the fourth day, humanity would enter the physical plane, and all of these etheric forms would gather elemental matter and materialize this dreamscape into the external environment of the world. And then there was the cosmic night of the third day.
The fourth day of Creation takes place in the Physical World (physical plane) and is related to the primordial element of earth, to the planet Earth (condensed sunlight), and to the 4 kingdoms (human, animal, vegetable, and mineral) of the physical world; in the human anatomy, this plane is related to the (instinctual) animal or nature body; and in bodily functions, to the sense of smell and to the digestive system. On the fourth day, the manifestation of life into the physical plane was unique and quite different from the “concrete” reality we experience today. It could be said that the substance of the Earth in its early phase of manifestation was malleable, pliable, and adaptable rather than fixed as our world seems to be. As new life forms began to “precipitate” into the denseness of matter, humanity, the ensouled beings of this life wave were the first to be established because it was through the divine power and creative fiat in their souls that all this was possible. Only through the unique soul/body matrix could the Creator experience, express, and create in this world; we are the vehicle through which God “touches” the world. When humanity was established in this “new dream,” the lesser evolved life forms followed; the animal, vegetable, and mineral kingdoms formed the backdrop of this dreamscape becoming the substantial reality of the external world. It needs to be noted here that the animals, including the apes, do not have individual souls, but are ensouled as a species with one collective soul. Man did not come from the ape, but the ape came from man which is the reason that after all these years no one has discovered Darwin’s so-called “missing link” and no one ever will because it doesn’t exist.
Now that mankind has arrived on the physical plane, the fourth day of Creation begins what has been referred to as: the four ages of man, the four great civilizations, or in the Hindu cosmology, the four yugas. Roughly speaking, the first of these periods lasted approximately 1.7 million years, the second period lasted 1.3 million years, the third period lasted 864,000 years, and the last period last 432,000 years. These periods decrease somewhat like a fractal diminishes, that is, proportionally. At present, we are in the early stages of the last period. These 4 periods correspond to the 4 structures of consciousness (magical, mythical, mental, and noetic or spiritual) which mankind encounters on the physical plane. Thus far, we have passed through the first phase called the magical structure of consciousness which is similar to the experience we might have when we first open our eyes from a deep sleep. Our mind is still sleep-filled and we stare at our surroundings as a single whole and do not connect with the individual items in the view. The second phase humanity passed through is called the mythical structure in which we began to recognize the separate powers and forces of nature and considered these to be gods and supernatural beings. Generally speaking, humanity is presently in the mental structure of consciousness, which has a tendency to orient our attention to the relationship of the physical body to the objects of the world. Those who have developed their spiritual nature have broken through or “died to” this mental orientation and experience the noetic or spiritual consciousness within. As Christ taught in the GH12 (64.4), “Adore ye God above you, beneath you, on the right hand, on the left hand, before you, behind you, within you, and around you. Verily, there is but one God, who is All in All, and in Whom all things do consist, the Fount of all Life and all Substance, without beginning and without end.”
The 7-day framework which has been presented in this paper has been referred to, in one way or another, by most of the religions of the world. Many of the Eastern religions speak of the continuing cycles of lives (death and rebirth) as “being on the wheel of karma.” The wheel of karma or the wheel of destiny revolves within the 7-day framework of Creation. The “heavenly rest” which Christians refer to is experienced in the higher regions of light which is within the 7-day framework, not in the Eternal. The individual soul is not released from the wheel of life and death until it has completed and fulfilled its spiritual transformation. In the GH12 (69.3-4), Christ teaches, “For those who have done evil there is no rest, but they go out and in and suffer correction for ages, until they are made perfect. But for those who have done good and attained unto perfection, there is endless rest and they go into life everlasting. They rest in the Eternal. Over them the repeated death and birth have no power, for them the wheel of the Eternal revolves no more, for they have attained unto the Centre, which is eternal rest, and the centre of all things is God.” In order to perfect the soul a person must enter the straight and narrow and consciously embrace the path of spiritual initiation and transformation called the Way of Life. The spiritualization and transformation of the body and soul requires complete focus (keeping thine eye single), dedication, persistence, sacrifice, and a concerted effort to withdraw from the illusion of the world (mammon) and embrace the stillness and light within. The “point” of stillness and light is the center within where God is found; focused breathing, meditation, and contemplation are the means for achieving inner serenity and spiritual clarity.
This concludes the papers on Creation – the structures of consciousness are the next story in the evolution of humanity; this content will be presented in an upcoming book titled, From the Darkness to the Dawn, The Evolution of Divine Consciousness. Also included in the book will be: the transition of humanity through the structures of consciousness (4th day of Creation); our experience of the spiritual principles of consciousness in the physical universe; the configuration of our spiritual Self in the Eternal; a deeper discussion on timespace Creation and the wheel of destiny (death and rebirth); the true purpose of the Way of Life path; the real significance of Jesus Christ and what he represents mystically; some insight on the spiritual meaning of the “last days,” and what we are meant to do in this period of time.
